Connect4Work: An introduction to computers for job seekers is a FREE program for adults (19+) who are interested in developing basic computer skills.
Monthly Workshops, 2:00-5:00pm – REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR EACH WORKSHOP (please bring your own laptop if you have one)
Session Topic – Going Online
In this session you will:
- Learn how the internet is organized
- Visit a website
- Search the internet
- Refine search results
- Discuss internet bias
- Talk about tabs
- Track your favourite web pages
- Take a screenshot
- Change browser settings to stay safe
